The course comprises:-

• Town driving
• All weather driving
• Out of town driving & Rural roads
• Night Driving
• Dual Carriageways
• MOTORWAYS

The modules will not all take the same amount of time to cover, and some modules will be assessed together. The course is currently 8 and a half hours long with modules varying in length from 1 hour to 3 and a half hours.

The Aim of Pass Plus is;-

• To develop existing skills.
• To acquire new skills and knowledge that make up positive driving.
• Further develop Anticipation skills. Plan for and deal with hazards safely.
• Understand how to reduce the risk of having a crash.
• Maintain a courteous and considerate attitude to other road users.
• Boost confidence in nervous drivers.
• SAVE MONEY ON CAR INSURANCE.

Insurance companies recognize the value of the Pass Plus scheme and offer up to the equivalent of 2  years no claims discount. This can be as much as £500 per year.
